One of the things that the last couple of years has taught me is that if your kids want a treat, it’s fine to give in and make the treat. I remember when Chad and I were dating (not, like, newly dating — but pre-kids). Whenever we would go to Sam’s Club for bulk groceries I would look forward to getting a little treat at the end. They had the best cinnamon soft pretzels. When I was pregnant for the first time, I would send Chad to Sam’s Club just for their soft pretzels. True Story! Nearly 10 years later, I still love a good, sugary, soft pretzel. It’s one of those things that I’m super happy I passed on to my kids. But the best way to really level them up is to make them in the air fryer. These air fryer soft cinnamon pretzel bites will not disappoint!
Why the air fryer
The air fryer is my second most favorite kitchen appliance (the first is my Instant Pot). It crisps them up quickly and is truly a godsend for a busy mom. For this particular recipe, you’ll need the following ingredients:
- 4 Soft Pretzel Sticks
- 2 tablespoons of Unsalted Butter
- 3/4 Cup of Brown Sugar
- 3/4 Cup Sugar
- 2 tablespoons of Cinnamon
If you’re up for making these from scratch, I highly recommend substituting these pre-made pretzels for my Aunt Annie’s Soft Pretzel recipe!
