December 5, 2016 in mantra

This week is going to be crazy nutso, in a good way. I mean, it’s always busy; but we are really starting to kick off the holidays now. And that means a jam-packed schedule with lots of fun.

I’m grateful that my mom, Ari’s Mimi, came to visit us for a couple of days this weekend. We’ve all been so busy with our work schedules that it’s been hard for her to make the trip up; but even though she was only visiting for a couple of days, it was just what we needed.

I’ll be content if we can go a week without one of us catching some sort of sickness. I know, I know… ’tis the season for colds, fevers, and whatnot. But guys — we cannot seem to catch a break. However, I’m grateful that our illnesses aren’t serious. Ya know??

I still wish I had more hours in a day. The to-do list is neverending, friends.

Happiness is stealing quiet moments. My favorite moments are either in the quiet of the morning, just me and a cup of coffee. Or the quiet of the evening, after everyone is asleep. Sure, the moments in between are great, too! I mean, my kids are fun. But it’s also nice to steal a few moments for myself, by myself. Ya know??

Weekly Mantra:

I feel like I really need this reminder this week. This past year has just been a complete roller coaster of emotions and experiences. Each day I have moments where I feel like I’m killing it, and then an hour later I wonder what in the world I’m doing with my life. It’s a struggle. And it’s a hustle. And it’s great. And I question it. But isn’t that life?? I think it is. So yeah. I’m important. And you’re important, too.
