This week I’m late. With everything. Because, life. Life ya’ll. It gets in the way. Also? Sleep. I love sleep. And because of that I didn’t get around to blogging  yesterday. Whoooooops!

I’m grateful to have had a really relaxing weekend! I honestly did nothing on Mother’s Day, which was the most perfect way to spend the day! The two naps & 7pm bedtime didn’t hurt either!

I’m content with my new job at the YMCA! Can I still call it “new” if I’ve been doing it for the last few months?? All I have to say is that it’s a truly wonderful feeling to wake up and not feel a pit of dread in my stomach. And seeing the smiles on those kids faces?? Literally brings tears to my eyes. Also? I have the flexibility to ‘pick up’ extra hours, which is SUPER nice!

I wish I could binge-watch Grey’s Anatomy faster! Seriously. I started binge-watching it on Netflix about a week ago, starting on episode 1. Sure, some of it I’ve seen previously. Buuuuut, as of the middle of season 4 (don’t judge — YES, I’ve made it through season 4), I’m finally to a point that I haven’t seen before!

Happiness is the Grey’s Anatomy soundtrack. For real. Rilo Kiley. Sia. Wilco. Iron & Wine. Keren Ann. Josh Rouse. Anna Nalick. OMG it’s like all of my favorite songs in the universe collided into an awesome soundtrack. These are actually the songs + artists I have on repeat on my iTunes (and have had on there for years — I like what I like and I don’t like change… so these are still on repeat after many years!).
