And this, my friends, is why I decided not to vacuum last night. Truthfully, Moosh had a really busy, really fun, but really rough weekend. No naps + lots of adventure = one crazy pants kiddo + two super drained parents. It took everything I had not to completely break down last night. I was actually in tears trying to get him to bed. And no parent wants to feel like their kid is driving them batshit crazy. But the honest part about parenting is that sometimes your kid DOES drive you batshit crazy.

Sometimes it takes everything you have not to completely shut down and just cry by yourself in a corner. And that’s OK.

So for this weeks short-week mantra, it’s all about feeling fabulous. I DIDN’T VACUUM BECAUSE IT DEFINITELY WAS *NOT* GOING TO MAKE ME FEEL FABULOUS. So take that, Monday! 🙂

Here’s hoping that the rest of this week is smooth sailing (and full of Moosh naps)!

AMEN! Love that you aren’t afraid to speak the truth, even when it’s hard. Mommy solidarity 🙂
