I may have mentioned here and there and on twitter about something that has changed my life:
My husband’s guacamole.
Life. Changing.
It beats Chipotles’ guacamole, hands down.
Something this good deserves to be shared with the world [as long as I'm not personally sharing my guacamole! I've been known to eat quite a bit of it
].
Chad’s Life Changing Guacamole
Ingredients
- 3 Avocados (ripened)
- 1/4 White Onion (chopped)
- 2 Jalapenos (seeds removed, diced)
- 1 teaspoon True Lime
- dash Salt (to taste)
Note
We use True Lime instead of using lime juice. Reason being? It keeps the guacamole at the right consistency. We've found that when using actual lime juice, it waters down the other ingredients a bit too much.
Directions
| Step 1 | |
| Peel ripe avocados and remove the seed. | |
| Step 2 | |
| Use a fork to mash the avocados. It should be a bit chunky when done. | |
| Step 3 | |
| Mix the chopped white onion, the jalapenos, True Lime | |
| Step 4 | |
| Then, enjoy! | |
Pair it with your favorite chips!

We just made guac last night so I had to read this. I’ll have to try this and compare!
