Like, for real.
I live and breathe pinterest these days.
Which, I guess, means I live and breathe random blogs
that I don’t actually follow but probably should.
And then I steal borrow their ideas
and make them my own.
This weekend I had one goal;
well, two goals:
1. do nothing;
2. in between doing nothing, craft.
These goals hardly happened.
For one, I was busier with ‘stuff’ than I should have been.
And by stuff, I mean, cleaning, working out, going to yoga, running errands, etc.
Plus some of my supplies didn’t come in the mail from Amazon yet
{of course this is the one time that my Amazon Prime 2-day shipping
actually comes in two-days instead of just one-day}.
But I just couldn’t wait!
So I went to the store, bought all of their crayons
{literally. I thought “they are going to think I have a crap-ton of kids,
or am a kindergarten teacher},
and made THIS:
Thank you, Pinterest, for giving me this idea!
It was SO easy {and not just in the
“this is so easy, because I want people to try it, but it’s actually difficult” way…
like actually easy!}.
After I gathered all my supplies
{and picked out the good crayons ;)}
I plugged in my hot-glue gun and started!

 {I may or may not have about 15 burn marks from hot glue on my hands…}
After all of the crayons were glued,
I let it sit for about 30 minutes.
Just to make sure they were set.
I had originally planned to do the hairdryer process in the garage;
but it’s dang cold out!
So I used our laundry room
{the BF snapped a picture…
please ignore the signs of a kitty via the litter box,
as well as my oh-so-tannedsunburned skin;
oh. And the mismatched PJs/slippers/sweatshirt…
I wasn’t planning on a photoshoot.}.

At first I had the hairdryer on high heat/high speed;
but it turns out that will just blow the melting wax off the canvas completely!
So I changed it to low speed-high heat.
And about 20 minutes later — Taaaaa daaaaaaaaa!
The finished product!
I love it!

I love pinterest. I think I get cranky when I don't get to use it. I have made a couple of the recipes and they all came out pretty good.
This project is super cute!

I am obsessed with Pinterest too. I spend HOURS at night looking at stuff for the wedding, our house and crafts. I've gotten into loom knitting recently and its so addicting!
