my mantra and weekend wrap up

November 2, 2009 in BF,food,mantra,weekend

This week I will be a very busy little lady! And I will be OK… I know it!

I believe that I can survive this time right now.

I’m addicted to Aladdin’s pita and hummus (I brought some back from OH this weekend and I have a feeling I’ll be eating LOTS of it).

I wish for peace of mind these next two weeks.

I’m jealous of nothing and no one. I can’t allow myself to be. It’s poisonous.

Soundtrack/Mantra for the week: I am TOUGH! And can handle anything.

So as for a weekend update, this weekend BF and I spent some serious quality time together.

…slept in,
…watched movies,
…cooked some pretty fabulous Buffalo Chicken Wing Pizza (complete with hot sauce instead of pizza sauce, grilled chicken and provolone cheese!),
…baked some delicious brownies,
…watched football,

…and ate some very delicious pumpkin ice cream!

I was also able to visit with my very good friend NIM and her little baby girl!

So all in all, it was a lovely weekend, but FAR too short. Aren’t they all?

Pumpkin ice cream. DELIC!

And I think we can all feel you on weekends being far too short. The government needs to look into making Monday part of the weekend as well:)
